SOPA Shoutout in State of the Union

“It’s not right when another country lets our movies, music, and software be pirated.”  President Obama, State of the Union Address

President Obama, who is actively pressuring Congress for action in numerous areas, pushed for the creation of a Trade Enforcement Unit.  This unit would crack down on many areas (some mentioned in the State of the Union), one of those being online piracy.  His push was spurred by Congress’ recent maneuver delaying advancement on SOPA and PIPA.
